March 2015 Update
Hey everyone, I hope you all had a splendid winter like Janell and I did. The weather here in Pensacola wasn’t as bad as it could be, or even as bad as some of you had it. We did have some seriously cold times. Basically, the entire month of January and half the month of February were crazy cold to us Floridians but we got over it quick. The temps now are up to the 70’s and rising every day making the fishing better and better every day.
Janell and I have been saving for quite some time to finally take a honeymoon and as of December, 2014 we booked it! We are super excited since we have been married for almost two years now. Anyway, we decided to go to Alaska. We are going to spend some time in Seattle, WA, then Vancouver, BC, then hop a giant boat (a cruise ship) that I will inevitably try to drive and sail north to Alaska for seven days. Then end our cruise in Seward to do some Halibut fishing for a few days and enjoy the 4th of July there in Alaska only to fly home two days later. Did I mention we are excited?
Lately, we have been working our butts off and trying to save up to buy a new house. Hopefully we can do that next year. I’m in desperate need for a home office and a fishing/hunting room. I seem to accumulate things and my wife thinks I don’t need them but I beg to differ. Oh, we did just get back from Disney that was a hoot. I could do without Hollywood Studios but everything else was a blast. Anyway, I can’t wait to see everyone this year when you come down to fish. I think you will like my new boat and the weather is splendid.
